Words cannot describe how saddened I am by everything that is happening in Japan. I continue to pray for the people that are missing, their families, those who experienced the earthquake and tsunami as well as those who unfortunately were killed in this terrible act of mother nature. We need to not only pray but act and help hundreds of thousands who have been and continue to be affected by this tragedy.

The American Red Cross sent a disaster expert from Washington to Japan on Monday and the Japanese Red Cross has dispatched dozens of response teams. If you'd like to donate to the Red Cross efforts, text "redcross" to 90999, and you can make a $10 donation to the organization.
